PARKING
If snow is expected, please park along left side of parking area so the snow plow can get by to clear the driveway
THERMOSTAT
There’s a Nest thermostat in the downstairs hallway across from the bathroom. (It’s not a touchscreen, you have to touch the right outer edge of the device to control it). This will control both the central heat and air conditioning.
HOUSE RULES
- – Please only flush toilet paper down toilet
- – Do not unplug the white ‘Yale’ blocks from outlets
- – No smoking
- – If furniture is moved, please carefully move back in place before check-out
- – Please keep indoor furniture indoors and outdoor furniture outdoors
- – Keep dirty/wet shoes on the waterhog mat under the hallway bench
- – No illegal substances allowed on the property
COFFEE, TEA, COCOA, SUGAR
Located in the top drawer to the left of the stove.
SPEAKER (BLUETOOTH)
– Pull the power toggle forward and hold until it powers on/off
– Press and hold bluetooth button on top of speaker to make it discoverable
– Look for “ACTON II” in your bluetooth devices
LAUNDRY ROOM
Located off of the downstairs hallway, you’ll find the following things in the laundry room:
– Washer and dryer
– Detergent and dryer sheets
– Iron and ironing board
– Hair Dryer
– Broom
– Vacuum
– Cleaning supplies/Disinfectant wipes
– Bug Spray
– First Aid Kit
– Fire Extinguisher
– Extra:
Toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, tissues, trash bags, pillows and towels
BREAKER (ELECTRICAL) PANEL
Located in the Laundry Room
KITCHENWARE
We did our best to provide all of your kitchen essentials. (Feel free to rummage the cabinets and drawers to see what we have)
FIRE PIT
There are fire starters, matches and marshmallow roasting sticks in the middle drawer to the left of the stove. We’ve also provided firewood located on the front deck and extra to the left of the driveway.
WOODBURNING STOVE
1. With the primary air control lever (located above stove door) in the full open position (to the right), place fire starter directly on the grate. On top of fire starter, place several pieces of small dry kindling (approx. 1” in diameter) with two to three larger pieces (approx. 3” to 5” in diameter) on top.
2. Light the fire and close the door.
3. Adjust the primary air control lever as necessary to generate the heat output and burn time desired.
